Tandom slides not locked. Hit trailer brakes tires stop trailer keeps going. See it a couple times over the years

I saw one set of dual trailer wheels sitting by the off ramp the other day and I was not a semi or big truck tech but couldn’t understand how it could happen so easily and no truck around 😂

Lack of maintenanceHappened to me on a trailer I picked up at a drop yard. Rear passenger side wheels both were gone after after arriving to another drop location. Never felt a thing. Can't remember but it was extremely light or an empty trailer. Bearings and everything gone. Was reported about a week later by the next driver to try and use it. I was told about it by my driver manager. That's a maintenance issue.
Well with all those areo brackets missing the side skirt I'd say he hit something
Tadem's, I was like what the hell is a tadem, especially after the the other dude said tadem's too lol. Then it hit me tandems lol.
You see when everything freezes then metal rubs on metal and gets really hot, things tend just to snap or break or go for a ride like his passenger tires
