This is how you deal with it.
The phone numbers on the back of the trailer.
Call the company and ask to speak to safety or dispatch.
In a very polite friendly voice tell them where you are and what trailer you are following and then tell them that their trailer has a flat tire and would they please let the driver know. You don't have a cb in your truck otherwise you would do it for them.
They will thank you and be very grateful……. And in 5 minutes the truck will pull over on the side of the road or take the next exit ramp and you won't have to deal with the idiot any more.Calling them and complaining about the way their driver is driving will do nothing.
Calling them and saving them a ticket will absolutely be bringing that driver to a temporary stop.
Just let me know if you want any more advice.
And for anybody that has pulled over on the 401 between Toronto and Windsor over the last 7 years to check for a flat tire…….

I always assume the truck drivers are professionals and if they do something suspicious like this it’s because they know something I don’t and are trying to warn me. Really can’t fathom they’re just being petty, but I guess it happens.

My company truck is governed at 65. 68 for passing. Not much i can do about that. However, any other truck that is going slightly faster on my left side. It's best to let them pass. Cause you're causing the other driver to hold up every other driver behind them.

It's called "a sphere of influence ". You can actually make drivers speed up or slow down by gauging your distance from them. They do it completely unconsciously. Next time in a situation like this. Try it. You can push them or slow them down once you find that sweet spot. I do it all the time with not only truckers but cars too.

What makes it even worse is when a 4-wheeler tailgates the truck that doesn't want to be passed. So now you have an even more difficult time passing, or like in this situation having to abort the pass. 😢
