It's easier to crank the trailer down then up!

Idiots I was a yard hostler. The union can haulers kept complaining about trls to low . So one day I got out and cranked every landing gear to the top. 4 drivers destroyed their cabs of the tractors. By not checking. The drivers blamed me for them destroying the trucks. I told there company safety guy that if your drivers just arbitrarily slam into trailers maybe you need new drivers. Then about 2 months later drivers complained trls were too close. I put 80 trls in a yard designed for 50. So after boss came out and saw that there was enough room he made a suggestion. Containers for that company were now only two inches apart. I complied boss got interrupted by a driver complaining and he went out looked and told driver his problem and walked back to office. So f with a yard dog and get the workout of your life

And his boss will ask what you did to piss off my hostler?

Would you rather 100 cranks down or 100 cranks up?

Why did you piss off the yard dog driver? Never, never, never, never do that. I know all truck drivers are babies but I learned early on, you are on their lot. They have all the power, you have none. Plus, its time to retire that trailer. DOT may watch this and track you down.

That's a Hydraulic lift on the tractor & the driver is Probably raising the trailer to simply piss off the driver that has to crank the shit out of the trailer just to hook up! CHILDISH STUPID HOSTLER!!!! I guess views mean more than common sense!

yall dont read the description lol… This is a yard dog/yard spotter. it has a hydraulic piston that lifts the 5th wheel hitch allowing them to jockey trailers around without having to use the landing gear. This was done purposely to screw over some apparently bad driver lol.

On a European truck: just press two buttons and lift the rear axle πŸ˜‚
