I would call corporate for repair shop and complain about them allowing this on their property. Then call a road service tire repair if the shop you are waiting at does nothing. Then call corporate back and tell them what you did.

This is why after I retired I got rid of my CDL with every endorsement. I will never get back in a truck again after 41 years. These cops wouldn't qualify for mall security.

Kinda reminds me of NC state trooper checking driver's license at the entrance of the DMV parking lot. Luckily some family flagged me down before i turned in n drove me into the parking lot.

25 to 30 years ago, I sued the D.O.T. officer and the state, for a 11 hour stop, as that man was determined to find something, and my truck had 5 cameras on it and recorded the officers conversation with each other, that he is gonna make it his mission to rid society of older trucks, and put me into bankrupt state. Please note, I spent 4 years of my time rebuilding that truck top to bottom, frame off restoration, costing $51k to do so. A 50 year old truck, that is (at that time) brand new, and well with in operational spec's … The officers were joking, that maybe, they should monkey wrench my truck to find something to fine me over.. the saving grace, was it took a 4 sheriff's to get this sick and twisted campaign to stop.. I was getting pretty nervous by hour 9-1/2, as it took 2 hours for the sheriff's to show up, (only one at first) and what sparked the other sheriff's to show up was once the sheriff seen they were dismantling the one camera they found on the back wheel lift area, smashed with a hammer…
Long story short, both D.O.T. officers where immediately suspended, without pay, and the one doing the most corrupted crap. Ended up being terminated and arrested, for 5 different charges later, over that campaign to destroy people's lives ,causing them financial distress, and mental stress. I traded suing the state for the max, that he never be allowed to be in/at any measure of law enforcement ever again, in any state of the USA.. ever! The other had all his cases he was involved in, ran through, and was about 2 years later, relieved of duty.. I don't think they liked what they found, as too many of the other cases matched like clock work gears the same..
On a side note, the engine blew up, finding that the engine had approx 1 to 2 gallons of cola or Pepsi in the oil poured in.. I didn't catch that until 30 miles down the road, which showed on camera them opening up generic bottles on camera, and doing something under the hood, which was out of viewing angle of the forward facing camera. Wrecked the engine, which cost about $12 k to find a new one and rebuild that one too. What a mess, somebody can be when they abuse the power given to them by the people, and they lose sight of that and take on a god complex… During the "Cash-4-Clunkers" campaign, the massive attack of our economy, this was just one prong of a mutli-prong pitch fork on us..
The mental issue the one officer had, later showed up in the newspaper, about 5 years after that long day, found to be beating his wife and daughter(s) I do not know if there was more than one daughter or several, the paper didn't go into detail, and didn't even mention he was once in law enforcement.. but when you come across a name of a domestic terrorist, it sticks out like a sore thumb..god complex, control freak, terrorist… Self earned hatred.. while they get to say, "it's for public safety" stop it.. bunches of nutcases..

Isn't that called entrapment?? 🤔🤔 why doesn't the same cop go to a bar and arrest everyone for getting drunk?? Talk about trying to make a quick buck this is what scum bags look like and the they wonder why they get all the hate?

To all the white truck drivers out there please forgive me because I thought Missouri DOT only did this to black truck drivers. 🤣 They pull me in doing Dot week they made up some 🐂💩 to shut me down for 8 hours. 🙏💯

I’m no law scholar , but I would think he can inspect, but you wouldn’t be in violation of anything seeing how you are not operating on a public roadway, you are parked, that would be no different from an officer pulling up in your driveway, inspecting your car, finding a headlight out, but, like I said, I’m no scholar

I believe he is at a Safehaven. They cannot issue him a ticket because he is not on the road. I’m not positive on that though.
