I did this for 10 years before finding a local job. I gotta say I miss it at times. Open road and listening to XM radio, I made it fun. 😅

Combat arms military service, Alaskan crab fishing, 2000 ft cell tower workers, helicopter power line repair. Not even close pal. Probably not even in top 20 most dangerous.
Statistically speaking, logging is the most dangerous job in America.
My dad drove for forty years. Only had a couple of minor accidents. Thankfully.
The deck hands of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier would likely disagree. But your profession does have its dangers.

Not saying there is NO hazards driving a rig. With that’s said, it’s NOT the most hazardous job there is by far.
Farmers, fire fighters, police, military, and working at Waffle House would be above trucking. Unless of course you are talking about the other drivers on the road that you guys hit, run over and basically abuse.
My only goal when i got into trucking was not to kill anybody or myself and not to turn into a f at bassturd.
