I think you are supposed to use common sense. Maybe you shouldn't be driving a large truck.

We don’t see “bad”. You scared of the dark? Be courageous & manly if it’s all that… Record when there’s some action. Most ppl want to be entertained & don’t care otherwise.

Plan better… that's what you do.

ELD starts alerting you 2 hours ahead of schedule sounds like poor judgment on the driver’s part not to find a safe place to park

Put it on personal conveyance, and get to the Pilot in East Saint Louis or the Flying J, or one nearby on the outskirts.
Poor trip planning on your part.

Personal convence driver or use your extra 2 hrs don't be a steering wheel holder

You go off duty then you use personal convenience. In the comment box you write the words safe Haven. This will allow you to get to the nearest truckstop or a safer place to park

Stay in your truck dumbass. Drove for 21years.

They need an emergency "buffer" of time!

Personal conveyance. In your off duty menu on your ELD. 60 miles

I was recently thinking about this. I have family in transport. I was thinking some uber type app for security services like rent a spot light with a camera like home depot does in Chicago. Or a jeep with a bunch of offroad lights. Charge the customer per hr might be good for both.
