Because it was a Coca-Cola, can load and was weighed out to close to 80k when you lose control of your trailer and brakes good luck. Hope the driver is okay.😮
Did he or she live?
Yooooo….
Sweet Jesus. If this driver lived, he's gotta be either the luckiest driver on earth, or God has a BIG plan for him … I will be genuinely SHOCKED to hear he survived. Rest in peace, Driver..
This is one of my big fears in driving, and why I go slower than I might actually need to on hills. I go at a speed the Jakes will hold me, and I do NOT use the service brakes unless absolutely necessary – that way my brakes are ALWAYS cool. I've been overcome of the biggest hills in the country in my 40 years of trucking; I have yet to smoke the brakes (always a first time, though!). I've gone 10 mph down a hill because I didn't have Jakes, and the engine would hold me at that speed – takes a LOOOONG time to go from Beaver, CO, to Denver without Jakes!!
